	16 June 2003 YLI unit signs pact on China water project YLI Holdings Bhd said its 37%-owned Pinang Water Ltd (PWL) has signed a pact with the Chinese government to construct a 100,000 cu m per day water treatment plant in Yi Chun, Jiangxi, on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis.

	4 March 2003 YLI Holdings posts a 30% increase in Q3 turnover to RM 35.7mil YLI Holdings Bhd, a specialist in the manufacture of ductile iron pipes, posted a 30.2% increase in turnover of RM 35.7mil for the third quarter ended Dec 31. Pre-tax. profits also rose from RM 9.1mil to RM12.0mil over the same period.

	18 September 2002 Govt policy boosts YLI Q1 performance. YLI Holdings Bhd, which achieved pre-tax profit of RM 7.46mil on the back of RM 25.2mil in turnover for the 1st quarter to June 30, has attributed the stronger results to the government policy for new water pipes and a lower rate of non-revenue water.
